Pangea Day

The folks over at TED recently sent me an email about Pangea Day. I'm not sure what it is, but it seems to involve everyone in the world watching something at the same time. For us West Coasters, that would be May 10, 2008 @ 11:00 PDT. According to their website, "Pangea Day will feature a 4-hour program of short films, live music, and visionary speakers." I think TED is awesome, so I'll probably tune in to see what all the fuss is about, but this coordinating everyone around the world thing sounds vaguely familiar.
